One-Month Check-Up

Cora visited Doctor Pickral today for her one-month check-up. Dr. Pickral was Amanda's paediatrician when she was an infant, and is now the Doctor the whole family goes to see!

Everything is looking fine!

Cora now weighs 11lbs 15oz, is 22 1/2" long, and her hed is 16 1/2" in circumference.

Empty Bottle

The academics amongst you will be able to discern two things from this picture:
1. Amanda was able to fill a bottle
2. Cora was able to empty the bottle (first time)

Extra Points:
3. Cora's Dad looks like a tired scarecrow

Dad Gets a Suprise Party

Cora's Dad rushed back from lunch to attend what he thought was a very important meeting.

Scurrying up the hallway - a few minutes late - he burst through the door...and was greeted by all the kind folks at the main office.

What a WONDERFUL surprise!

Thank you to everyone at Highland Belle for the wonderful surprise (you really got me), and thank you for all the fantastic gifts!

Cora's First St. Patrick's Day

We wouldn't describe it as Cora's happiest day yet (she was a little bit fidgety all day), but she did find enough time to put on an appropriate outfit for the day!

Big thanks to Jenny and Duane for the wonderful outfit!

The Big (Little) 3-0

Cora showed Mum and Dad how to deal with their not-too-distant 30th birthdays by gleefully enjoying some quality time on the couch.

Cora's Sock Problem

The medical profession is facing a complex mystery.

At hand is the issue of Cora Conway "shedding" a sock, at will, and without warning.

Cora's woes were first noticed when her big sister Gemma found a new "toy" to play with.

Subsequent analysis of photographic evidence seems to support the theory that something is *cough* afoot.

Wednesday Night Dinner

Cora attended her inaugural "Wednesday Night Dinner" this week.

There were tears, screaming, and noisy bowel movements, but enough about Aunt Renata and Uncle Casey

Something's Missing

...and it would be Cora's umbilical cord!

After a few days of putting up a good fight, the remaining portion of Cora's umbilical cord finally fell off.

This means that Mum and Dad no longer have to tip-toe around the tummy when putting on diapers!

Mail!

There were a few double-takes on Saturday as some of the first pieces of mail arrived for someone called Cora Conway

Mum and Dad, momentarily, were caught a little off guard by the unusual addressee!

Cora Celerates Seeing Her First Celtic Goal!

Well, it might be fairer to say that she didn't quite "see" the goals...but the Celts were a different team when a certain someone made her morning appearance to support the hoops.

She must be a good luck omen; even Lee Naylor scored!
