What a year it's been!
Cora Mae joined us exactly one year ago today, one year ago at this exact time, and what a year it has been!
Looking back through our pictures has been a lot of fun. We - of course - have hundreds of pictures of Cora, and each one has it's own special memory.
We'll get around to posting some pictures from Cora's birthday party in the next day or so, but we just wanted to say "Happy Birthday Cora!"

A year ago today
...I seem to recall a nervous post in anticipation of Cora's arrival. There had been an appointment with the Doctor to discuss what we would do if Cora didn't arrive on time. We settled on 2/22/08 as a good day to come in to be induced.

Cora's Cupboard
Cora loves coming to play in the kitchen, so we decided to leave a cabinet open for her to play with!
First Word?
Cora said "Hi Daddy" two days ago, and - of course - never says it as well on camera, but here's the closest she's come since Tuesday!
Presents have their uses!
Dad's new golf gear organizer is temporarily taken over as cora play-thing
Thomas Jefferson
Cora took a lovely day-trip with her parents and Nana and Pop to Monticello; Thomas Jefferson's house. Cora even went on a tour of the house, and was pefectly behaved throughout!
Patient Cora
Cora takes some new threads for a spin, and patiently waits for her Dad to finish putting her presents together
Half-time
We had a brief intermission while Cora powered up for the second part of opening presents!
