Making bread

Cora helped me make bread this afternoon. She loves to be up on the stool watching the action!

Fathers Day weekend 09

We made the trip to Charlotte for Father's Day weekend. It was great.

Pop and Cora checked out the crowds at the Friday night music at Blakeney.



Cora enjoyed the cake and ice cream... big surprise!



And helped Nana organize the laundry room!

Cora is talking a lot more, but still relies heavily on body language for communication. We think this maneuver means she doesn't want to be put down... hard to tell though!

The New Cora

Tony and I debated over which picture taken this weekend was the best. We decided on this one. It shows the (slightly) longer hair, the new and improved smile and the new teeth as well!

Camp Stephie

After arriving in Maryland on Sunday, Cora promptly began exploring everything and making repeat trips up and down the stairs. On Monday, her first full day at Camp Stephie was a doozy! A fall off the bed, another one down the stairs (only 2) and a smashed toe from the screen door... she recovered in good form, with only minor wailing. I think Steph and I were more traumatized than her! We are hoping she got all her bumps out of the way early!

The rest of the visit was much more smooth. We discovered the reason for some of the unpleasantness... a new tooth (her 10th)! We made a visit to the Calvert Marine Museum, spent some time playing in the river and Cora had a play date with both Claude and Steph in the toybox. We ended our visit with a great day on Wednesday. Thanks so much for everything!

Spaghetti

Cora loves spaghetti... it gives her such a nice fake tan look!

The whole family has really enjoyed getting outside in our big new yard! Cora loves to walk and explore the grass. There is even a picture of her with a dandelion she picked!

We didn't think Cora would quite be up for an egg "hunt," so we made finding her Easter basket much easier...it was met with a wonderful squeal of delight which you can just hear...

Busy Busy March

March is full of birthdays for us, and we were up and down the roads all month. Every weekend was a party for someone's birthday!

We all enjoyed being in the newest Conway household in NC for Clare's second birthday. Cora especially enjoyed eating Clare's cake and playing in her new sandbox.



Then two weeks later, it was back down to Charlotte for Pop's birthday.




And then, Aunt Stephie came to visit when Auntie Renata and Uncle Casey were here. What a busy month!
